Yu-Gi-Oh VRAINS

Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS is a Japanese anime that was made by TV Tokyo. It premiered on May 10, 2017 and ended on September 25, 2019, for a total of 120 episodes. When 4K Media made the English Dub dialogue was made less mature and violence was reduced.

• Episode 1
  1. The scene where a Knights of Hanoi's member says "Who the hell are you?!" it was changed to "You dare to attack the Knights of Hanoi! Once you cross us your marked for life!"
  2. The scene where Shima says "He's been taking out the evil hacker group Knights of Hanoi single-handily!" it was changed to "He's fighting against the Knights the Knights of Hanoi this group of no good hackers who are trying to destroy link frames."
  3. The scene where Yusaku says "I'm doing this of my own free will. I will get revenge on those who stole your little brother's and my pasts away!" was muted.
  4. The line "If the Knights of Hanoi attack us at that time... The damage will be enormous." was changed to "But we will have to reroute power from our security powers leaving our network valuable to attack."
  5. The line "Use whatever methods necessary to capture Ignis!" was changed to "Capture it and bring it to me immediately."
  6. The scene where the Knight of Hanoi member says "Crush all who get in our way!" it was changed to "I'll find the Ignis even if I have to destroy this whole world."
  7. Any scene that shows the Cracking Dragon's fire killing a crowd of civilians was cut.
  8. The scene that shows a close up on the Cracking Dragon's fire killing a woman was cut.
  9. The scene that shows the Cracking Dragon's fire killing two fleeing boys was cut.
  10. The scene where Playmaker says "So you better pray I win." it was changed to "Oh is that so, then you better hope that your analysis or else you'll be going home with him."
  11. The scene where Ignis says "AI's don't pray!" it was changed to "That would be worse then hanging out with you."
• Episode 2
  1. The scene where Playmaker says "Don't forget your a hostage." it was changed to "It would please me if you told me the differences."
  2. The scene where Ignis says "I want to live too, you know." it was changed to "Look, hate to break it to you. But my superior programing makes me a dueling genius."
  3. The scene that shows Playmaker and his Cyberse type monster taking damage after being attacked in the duel was modified for the 4K media dub. In the dub Playmaker's cry was muted.
  4. The scene where Shima says "He did it! Playmaker destroyed Hanoi's dragon!" it was changed to "No way! Playmaker beat that dragon like it was nothing!"
  5. The scene that shows Hanoi's dragon's laser attack hitting Playmaker's speed surfer board knocking him off of it was modified for the 4K media dub. In the dub the sound effect was made to sound more like a sci-fi laser while in the Japanese version a crash sound effect plays when it hits the speed surfer board.
  6. The scene where Ignis says "If you take too much damage and hit the ground, you die." it was changed to "The concerts no cushion even in virtual reality."
  7. The scene where the Hanoi member says "You barely survived. How lucky." it was changed to "Lucky you had a guardian angel, but she can't save you from this!"
  8. The scene where the Hanoi member says "The data storm will swallow you. You're terminated." it was changed to "How could you be so dumb to switch to the lane directly in front of the data storm?"
• Episode 3
  1. The scene where the Hanoi member says "Playmaker..." was modified for the 4K media dub. In the 4K dub he isn't grunting it due to being in pain instead he says the line perfectly normally.
  2. The scene where the Hanoi member says "I'll take you down with me." it was changed to "But I do have something to share."
  3. The scene where Ignis says "Oh no! He wants to destroy us!" it was changed to "Ah glitch! That's a detonator! What to do! What to do! What to do!"
  4. The scene where Ignis bites into the Hanoi member killing him was cut.
• Episode 6
  1. Any scene that shows a female student was modified for the 4K media dub. In the 4k media dub they all have pants underneath the skirts.
