Censorship

YU-NO: A Girl Who Chants Love at the Bound of this World (この世の果てで恋を唄う少女YU-NO) is a visual novel adventure game that was originally released by the ELF Corporation for PC-98 home computers in Japan. The game was ported to the PlayStation Vita and Sega Saturn. It has since been remade for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Windows. However, the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 versions were censored in order to be released through Nintendo and Sony's respective platforms.

Censorship[]

International censorship[]

  • The scene that shows Sala naked on the ground with her hands tied together when she is in the Oasis was modified for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch release. In the censored version a ray of white light covers her butt.
  • Some gameplay cursors were modified.[1]

Where to find it uncensored[]

The original PC-98 version and remake for Windows are uncensored.[2]
