Valkyrie Drive Bhikkhuni is a video game that was developed by Meteorise and published by PQube. The game was first released for the PlayStation Vita in Japan on December 10, 2015, with international versions being released in 2016. The Windows version was ported by Honey ∞ Parade Games and published by Marvelous through Steam on June 20, 2017.

International censorship[]

  • Character ages were removed from international releases so the player is no longer informed how old the characters are.[1]

Australian censorship[]

  • The video game was removed from Steam in Australia.[2] Additionally, the game was banned in Australia.

German censorship[]

  • The video game was removed from Steam in Germany.[2]

Iranian censorship[]

  • The game was banned in Iran for glorifying homosexual and immoral values, according to the local authorities. However, the game can still be found digitally.

New Zealand censorship[]

  • The game was banned in New Zealand by the Office of Film and Literature Classification due to allegedly "promoting incest between the two lead focal sisters, and exploitation of young persons for sexual purposes".

Pakistani censorship[]

  • The game was banned in Pakistan due to sexual content and for allegedly glorifying homosexuality. The ban was not extended to the digital release, though.

United Arab Emirates censorship[]

The game was banned in the UAE due to homosexual relationships between characters and high-impact sexual themes. However, the ban did not extend to the digital version of the game.

Where to find it uncensored[]

The original Japanese version is uncensored.
