- Fuuko's suicide attempt was changed from doing it in front of the crowd of people she threatens with a knife to stay back to conducting it in solitude.
- In the manga, Fuuko steals an editor's phone mid-conversation and holds the editor at gunpoint to prevent her from taking it back. It was changed in the anime where the editor is instead intimidated into relinquishing the phone by the sudden appearance of Andy.
