Censorship

UmJammer Lammy is a rhythm video game that was developed by NanaOn-Sha and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. It is a spinoff of PaRappa the Rapper. The video game was released on March 18, 1999. The North American release was censored in order to get an E for Everyone rating from the ESRB.

  • The line "So you can play in hell! you come far!" was changed to "So you can play in a island! you come far!"
  • The scene with Lammy dying was replaced with a scene where Lammy gets catapulted to an island.
  • The scene that shows the people on stage and Lammy talking about how she is going to die and how she already is dead was cut.
  • The line "I love choppin down trees just for fun!" was changed to "I love rockin' to the beat just for fun!"
  • The line "The angel's been mean to me." was changed to "The friend's been mean to me."
  • The scene where Parappa says "Somebody come and rescue me quick, or I will be the friend's next pick."
