Turok 2: Seeds of Evil is a first person shooter developed by Iguana Entertainment and published by Acclaim Entertainment for the Nintendo 64 and Windows. It was released on December 10th, 1998. Due to the game targeting USK 16 rating, the German version had to be censored as a result of this. The Japanese version called Violence Killer: Turok New Generation has the blood off by default just in case children or the faint hearted buy the game, however it can be changed back to red or green in the options menu which the setting is called "ブラッド" which is Blood in English and the setting and the choice names in katakana are "オフ" (Off), "レッド" (Red) and "グリーン" (Green).

Germany censorship[]

  • Blood splatters were completely removed.
  • Enemy death animations are shortened.
  • Gore effects such as body bursting and body part separations were removed.
  • Arrows disappear when hitting an enemy.
  • Human corpses were removed.
  • Human characters were removed from the multiplayer mode.

Japanese censorship[]

  • Blood is off by default. Just like the Japanese version of the first game. You can switch it back to red or green.

Where to find it uncensored[]

The Nightdive Studios remaster is uncensored, and every other country has the original game uncensored.
