Trinidad and Tobago is a Caribbean country which mostly practices Christianity, and to a certain extent, Hinduism and Islam. It was a member of the Federation of West Indies between 1958 and 1962, when the islands achieved independence from the United Kingdom. It is part of the Caribbean Community and of the Commonwealth of Nations.
