TimeShift is a 2007 first-person shooter developed by Saber Interactive (via the Russian branch) and published by Sierra Entertainment for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Windows. In order to be released in Germany and avoid being indexed or outright banned, the game had to be censored.

Censorship[]

Germany censorship[]

  • Blood splatters were reduced.
  • Ragdoll effects were reduced and completely removed from corpses.
  • Enemies can no longer be set on fire.
  • Some scripted sequences had the violence toned way down.
  • Body parts cannot be separated.
  • Enemies no longer burst/explode from certain weapons.
  • Corpses disappear faster.

Where to find it uncensored[]

The PC version has a uncut patch available, and every other country has this game uncensored.
