- The main character Kuzco was originally going to be named "Manco", however in the final release, he was renamed to "Kuzco" due to the former meaning "maimed" or "crippled" in Spanish and Portuguese.

- Since the 2005 DVD release, Kuzco throwing a rock at Pacha was replaced with an acorn.
Iranian Censorship[]
- The scene that shows Pacha and Chicha kissing is modified, in the Persian dub, the kissing scene is obscured with a sign with the word "Censorship" in it.

Other streaming sites may offer the uncensored version and the DVD home videos are uncensored.
