Super Street Fighter is a fighting video game that was developed and published by Capcom. The video game was released on June 24, 1994. Due to Nintendo's strict, family-friendly policies the game was censored.

Censorship[]

International censorship[]

  • The secret character in Super Turbo, known as "Gouki" in Japan, was renamed to "Akuma", despite not being named in-game.

SNES censorship[]

Note: Most of the censorships carried over from the previous versions of the SNES ports.
  • Blood was removed from the losing portraits after fights.

Where to find it uncensored[]

The Japanese releases kept the secret character's original name and every other release of the game is uncensored.
