Censorship[]

Chinese censorship[]

This film was not shown in theaters in mainland China because Chinese censors did not allow it for undisclosed reasons, and then the Chinese government banned it because Simu Liu, the actor who plays the protagonist of the film, during an old interview he gave to CBC, talked about his parents' experiences under the communist government.[1]

Where to find it uncensored[]
