- The episode was made age restricted and was later deleted due to excessive homosexual jokes and graphic scenes of Jimmy choking on hot dogs.

- The original version was taken down due to the ending scene violating YouTube's guidelines, due to disturbing scenes that showed a girl being shot in the head by a shotgun and Cody with bloodshot eyes and that he bit the kidnapper's genitalia off, when the video was later reuploaded, the ending was censored, cutting the scene where a girl gets shot in the head and cutting the rest of the ending.

- To avoid copyright infringement from Nintendo, in February 2021 the SML crew no longer uses the Super Mario plushies in later episodes, instead they have to use their original characters:
- That means Marvin replaces Mario, Rose replaces Rosalina, Braxton replaces Bowser, and Junior replaces Bowser Junior.
