SMG4

SuperMemeGuardian4, formerly SuperMarioGlitchy4 and commonly known as its short form SMG4, is an Australian-American parody series created and produced by Luke and Kevin Lerdwichagul. The series premiered on YouTube on May 7, 2011. Starting with "The Smash 5 Trials" episode of season 8 in 2018, strong language such as "fuck" began being censored due to YouTube's monetization rules regarding profanity. Other words, such as "shit", would start to be censored by the following year. Pre-existing episodes that could not be retroactively censored were set to private, becoming inaccessible to the public on YouTube. Some episodes of SMG4 were also censored in mainland China and North Korea due to government regulations.

Season 2

• How Mario was Born
  1. This episode was made private for two reasons: Starman3 appearing due to him being exposed as a pedophile, and the start of the video having a narration where SMG4 is called Gay, a F*g, and a Jew, which the latter is a very antisemitic joke.
• The SMG4 Weight Losers
  1. The episode was privatized around November 2020, because it depicted a scene where SMG4 was standing in front of Peach's castle but with a Nazi flag being in place of it, another reason is that Starman3 appears in this video, due to him being exposed for pedophilia.

• 0% of Spaghetti
  1. The episode was privatized around November 2020, due to the video featuring Starman3, due to negative pedophilia allegations surrounding him and a scene in the episode where SMG4 asks Mario, why he shot an innocent man, as Mario replies back with "because he's black?"

• Starman3 Gets 5000 Subs
  1. The episode was privatized around 2022, due to the episode starring a YouTuber named Starman3, who was exposed for being a child predator.
• SMG4 joins the YTR
  1. The episode was deleted due to the video depicting Starman3, due to controversies and negative allegations surrounding him.

Season 4

• Mario Simulator
  1. The scene where Mario is given options whether or not he should steal the spaghetti from Princess Daisy, the choice "I'm going to rape you," is blurred out.
• Mario in Real Life!? (200th video special)
  1. Following the doxxing of Glitch Productions, the episode was removed due to the episode taking place in Luke and Kevin's old house.

Season 6

• Toad has a secret
  1. The episode was made private due to the video featuring Starman3, due to controversies surrounding his real life self.

  1. Due to a doxxing incident involving Glitch Productions, the episode was delisted due to location being Luke and Kevin's old home.

Season 9

This is the year that starts censoring other words, such as "shit," or sometimes "dick," "pussy," or "cock." The voice line of Heavy Weapons Guy from Team Fortress 2 yelling "Shit!" was specifically one of the only known voice lines specifically to maintain not being censored for some reason.

  1. When SMG4 says "I've got shit to do." The word "shit" is bleeped out.

• 1. When Bowser says "Is there anyone here who isn't a dumbass motherfucker?", the word "fuck" is bleeped out.

• 1. When Toad says "God fucking damn it!", "fuck" is bleeped out.
  2. When Bowser says "This fucking chicken is fucking raw!" Both uses of the word "fuck" was bleeped out.
  3. When Bowser says "It tastes like shit!", the line is changed to "It tastes like penis!"

• Mario Gets Stuck On An Island

  4. When SMG4 freaks out and says "Ah fuck you! Oh god! What the fuck!" The second use of "fuck," is bleeped out, but the first one is uncensored, presumably because it's hard to catch.

  1. When Hank Hill says "You gon' suck this cock?," twice. The line is changed to "You gon' suck this penis?"

• The Totally Legit Learning Show With SMG4
  1. When Mario says "Well, shit." Shit is bleeped out.
  2. When Toad yells "Why the fuck, Tina!?" Fuck is bleeped out.
  3. Toad explaining the rest of the song to Toadette has the line, "Y is for the yeast infection, you get every 2 weeks! Because you don't know how to clean your pussy!" was cut out. So the line is "X is for you! My ex-wife! And Z is for Zero!"
  4. When Teletubby says "Well that was a load of shit." The word "shit" is bleeped out.
