Postal 2 is a first-person shooter game developed by Running with Scissors and published by Whiptail Interactive as the sequel to Postal. It was released on April 14, 2003 for Windows PCs. Because of its content, the game has been banned in some countries, including New Zealand.

Australian censorship[]
- The expansion pass Share the Pain was banned in Australia due to "high impact violence" in October 2005.
- In October 2013, a special edition of the game titled Postal 2: Complete that included Share the Pain and Apocalypse Weekend was rated R 18+ for high impact violence and themes related to crime, anti-social behaviour, and crude humour. It was submitted under the name ACMA INV-0000-2717.
- In April 2024 Postal 2: Complete was delisted despite the ban being lifted.
German censorship[]
- The game is not available for purchase on Steam in Germany because of its content.
New Zealand censorship[]
- In 2004, the Office of Film and Literature Classification banned Postal 2 in New Zealand, citing high levels of violent content and animal violence.
- It was banned again in January 2023.
Uzbekistan censorship[]
- The game was banned due to the government believing it "distorted national values" and "threatened stability."
Where to find it uncensored[]
Every other country has it uncensored. You may be able to find it in Germany in other stores selling the game. In the other hand, in New Zealand, possession of objectionable material is illegal.
