Censorship[]
International Censorship[]
- The Occult Maniac classes are renamed to Hex Maniacs to avoid references to occultism in a family-friendly game.
- The female Psychic's sprite was changed that her arms stretched instead of near her face due to it being misinterpreted that she put her hands on her breasts.
- The Sailor's sprite was changed due to him making the offensive gesture Bras d'honneur.
- Makunoshita is renamed to Makuhita due to its name containing "shit", which can trigger profanity filters.
Other Censorship[]
- The option to name your rival is removed starting with Generation 3 onwards due to the potential that players give their rivals inappropriate names in the previous games.
