Persona 3 is a JRPG video game that was developed and published by Atlus that was first released for the PlayStation 2 (PS2) in Japan on July 13, 2006. The PS2 version was also published by Atlus USA (NA), Koei (EU), and THQ (AU). An enhanced version for the PlayStation Portable (PSP) was later released by Atlus USA (NA) and Ghostlight (EU) as Persona 3 Portable. This PSP version is known to have been censored and is being ported by Sega for release on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S in 2023.

  • The line of dialog where a male on the beach reacts to a transgender character by saying "SHE's a HE!?" was cut from the Portable version. Other similar cuts cause some character development for the transgender character to be omitted from this version of the game.
