On Her Majesty's Secret Service is a British-American spy film that is part of the James Bond franchise. The movie was produced by United Artists and was released on 18 December 1969. Due to the film targeting a PG rating, the BBFC censored it to tone down sexuality.

  • The scene that shows Angela Scoular writing her room number on Bond's inner thigh was modified for the BBFC release. In the original version, she writes it after which Bond says "Just a slight stiffness coming on." Voiceover was added to extend the line to "Just a slight stiffness coming on... in the shoulder."

Where to find it uncensored[]

Though the BBFC edit is used for all home videos released worldwide, a shorter 1987 Warner VHS tape was released without the edit.
