Censorship[]

South Korean censorship[]

  • This song was banned in South Korea due to its lyrics being deemed indecent. As a result, when Haruki Murakami's novel, Norwegian Wood first came out in Korea, it had its title translated as The Age of Loss (Korean : 상실의 시대, Sangsil-ui Sidae), as most readers in the country had not heard of the song at the time.
