Monster House is an American animated movie that was produced by Columbia Pictures, Relativity Media, ImageMovers, and Amblin Entertainment. It was theatrically released by Sony Pictures on July 21, 2006 in the United States. When the movie started to air on Cartoon Network, it was censored due to network standards. As a result, language was toned down and some sexual references were cut. This television edit was also applied to reruns on Disney XD.

USA censorship[]

Cartoon Network[]

  • The scene where Jenny says "Cut the crap." was cut.
  • The scene where DJ says "I'm going home. I suck." was changed to "I'm going home. I'm serious."
  • The scene where Jenny tells Chowder that the Chainler acts like the House's Uvula, Chowder says "oh so it's a girl House." (which meant that he thought Jenny was referring to a woman's private spot) was cut.

Where to find it uncensored[]
