Italian censorship[]

  • In episode 12, when Hanon daydreams about being with Taro and kissing him, the dream is interrupted and cut before they kiss, similar to the Cantonese dub. However, similar scenes in later episodes (including the kiss on Hanon's forehead in episode 55) were kept.
  • In episode 40, Splash Dream was also cut on TV, but not reintroduced in the DVD.
  • The scene where Sheshe holds Mimi's waist when singing Yami no Baroque was initially cut when it first appeared in Episode 54, 57 and 58. However, in 56 and 59 onwards, it's left uncut.
  • Because the songs from Pure were not translated in Italian (except for Yami no Baroque, Tsubasa wo Daite and Ashita ga Mienakute), the dialogues where Aqua Regina gives the princesses new songs were altered: in episode 66 she tells them she is sure the pricesses will succeed in spreading peace and harmony, in episode 75 she encourages them to believe more in themselves, while in episode 87 she says she will come rescue them whenever they need and tells them that the melody of their voices will be able to melt the villains' hearts.
  • In episode 84, Tsubasa wo Daite is partly translated with a poem and partly cut.
  • Two scenes of Sheshe and Mimi almost kissing when singing Kuro no Kyōsōkyoku were cut and previous singing sequences were inserted in to replace it.
