Mega Man Legends (known as Mega Man 64 for the N64 port in the west) is an action-adventure shooting game developed by Capcom Production Studio 2 and published by Capcom. The game was released on December 18, 1997. It was made more family-friendly for the International release. Violence towards animals was reduced and an erotic magazine item was censored.

International Censorship[]
(This censorship applies to the PSP, PlayStation, and Nintendo 64 releases.)
- The Erotic Magazine was changed to Comic Book for the International release. (The Nintendo 64 version is less censored, since you can still see the Erotic Magazine's cover, but the name is still changed to Comic Book.)
- In the Japanese version, you are able to kick non-aggressive animals. In the International releases, you are not allowed to kick non-aggressive animals.
- In the Japanese version, you are able to kick aggressive animals multiple times. In the International releases, you can only kick them once.
- In the Japanese version, you are able to shoot birds down with your arm cannon. In the International releases, you cannot shoot birds down.
- In the Japanese version, when Tron Bonne is chased up a poll by a dog, you can kick the dog to save her. In the International releases, you have to talk to the dog if you want to save her.
Japanese Censorship[]
- The Erotic Magazine was changed to a comic book for the PSP release.
Where to find it uncensored[]
The Japanese Nintendo 64 and PS1 are completely uncensored, while the International Nintendo 64 release is the least censored version in the West.
