Saudi Arabia censorship[]
- Mafia 3 was among 47 games that were banned in Saudi Arabia due to unspecified violent content after a 12-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl had allegedly committed suicide after participating in an online "Blue Whale" challenge.[1][2]
UK censorship[]
- A number of Unionist groups in Northern Ireland called for the game to be banned due to pro-IRA dialogue, as well the "IRA Don't Ask" mission, which involved car bombs (which the IRA employed during their attacks in real life) . [3]
United Arab Emirates censorship[]
- The game is banned in the United Arab Emirates likely due to game containing nudity and other offensive material; however, no official reasoning was ever given.
Where to find it uncensored[]
