Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days is a third-person shooting video game that was developed by IO Interactive and published by Square Enix. The video game was released on August 17, 2010. In order to be released in Germany, the gameplay had to be censored.

International Censorship[]
- A pixel filter was added.
- In the game's intro the cuts and blood on Kane and Lynch were reduced.
- In chapter 1 Kane and Lynch storm the apartment of a gangster. The gangster's girlfriend jumps into the fight and will fight against you. In the International release her entire genital area covered in pixel's due to the pixel filter. In the Japanese version you can see her panties.
- The scene that shows the gangster committing suicide by cutting his own throat. In the International version his entire throat is covered in pixels. In the Japanese version you can see him cutting his throat.
- Headshots are censored due to the pixel filter.
- In chapter 5 the scene that shows Lynch pushing an opponent's face in a frying pan. In the international version this scene is obscured with the pixel filter.
- In chapter 6 pixels cover most of Kane and Lynch due to them being nude.
- The dead friend of Lynch is covered in pixels.
- The cuts and blood on Kane and Lynch were reduced.
German censorship[]

- Ragdoll effects were removed.
- You can no longer shoot civilians.
- You can no longer shoot people who are injured
Japanese censorship[]
- In chapter 6 Kane and Lynch wear underwear due to Japanese laws regarding nudity in video games.
- Ragdoll effects were removed.
- You can no longer kill civilians.
- You can no longer kill injured enemies.

The Japanese release is the least censored version.
