JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Censorship - Censored Gaming

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is a fighting video game that was developed and published by Capcom. Based on a Japanese manga of the same name, the video game was released on August 1999. The international versions of the game all have censorship. However, some versions of the game allow you to turn the censorship off. The international Dreamcast version and the PlayStation versions don't allow that — the original PlayStation (PS1) version is censored worldwide.

Censorship[]

International censorship[]

(Arcade/Dreamcast/PlayStation/PlayStation 3/Xbox 360)

  • Blood was recolored white.
  • Chaka's blade was recolored brown.
  • In N'Doul bonus stage helicopter pilot that is in the background was removed. (This is due to his hand getting cut off)
  • The cutscene that shows DIO's body exploding was changed to him simply flying off the screen.

Where to find it uncensored[]

The Japanese versions of the Arcade, Dreamcast, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 releases are all uncensored. The international versions of the Arcade, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 releases have settings that can turn off the censorship.
