Iron Man 2 is a 2010 film distributed by Paramount Pictures and produced by Marvel Studios. Before the film's release, Disney acquired Marvel Entertainment, but the distribution rights were maintained by Paramount. It is directed by Jon Favreau and stars Robert Downey Jr. in the titular lead role. On the Australian children's network ABC Me, some scenes and language had to be cut in order to be rated "PG-V" and to appeal to parents of younger viewers.

In order to appeal to younger viewers, some scenes and language had to be cut/toned down, resulting in a "PG-V" rating on the channel. The film premiered on March 12, 2011 at 5pm.
- The masturbation joke is cut.
- The scene where Tony gets drunk at a party full of scantily clad women is shortened so we don't see/hear Tony urinating.
- The line "Jesus Christ." is changed to "Jiminy Cricket."
- Both uses of the line "Oh, shit." are changed to "Oh, darn."
- The line "Software shit" is changed to "Software junk"
- The line "Listen, we got to get these bitches out of here." is changed to "Listen, we got to get these dames out of here."
- Some violence is toned down.
Chinese censorship[]
- Vanko's nationality was obscured. In the Mandarin Chinese dub, the word "Russia" was backmasked resulting as something like "Ashar", and "Siberia" as "Ayuribias".
Where to find it uncensored[]
The DVD and Blu-ray home videos are uncensored.
