Garfield and Friends

Garfield and Friends is an American animated television series based on the comic strip Garfield by Jim Davis and run on CBS Saturday mornings from September 17, 1988, to December 10, 1994, with reruns airing until October 7, 1995. Seven seasons of the series were produced. In the Arabic dub which aired on Spacetoon, all of the U.S. Acres / Orson's Farm segments were cut out due to religious sensitivities.

  • Episode 21a
    1. The western cowboy scene was edited due to Islamic standards against gambling, as Garfield and a cowboy were seen playing cards in that scene.
    2. The scene with Garfield in a ballerina training program were cut out.
    3. The scene with Garfield running in a commercial for Kawley Grip toothpaste was replaced with a repeat of an earlier scene. However, this created a minor continuity error.
    4. The U.S. Acres / Orson's Farm segment was cut out.
  • Episode 21b
    1. The segment was skipped.

Where to find it uncensored[]

The DVD home videos are completely uncensored, and the uncensored version can be seen on other countries, including the United States.
