Game of Thrones is an American fantasy drama TV show that was created by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss for HBO. The first episode aired on April 17, 2011 and concluded on May 19, 2019. Due to having strong language, nudity, sex, and graphic violence, the show was censored around the world.

When the show aired on the free broadcast network RTL II in Germany, a number of scenes were cut in order to allow the show to be broadcast.
