Fallout: A Post Nuclear Role Playing Game is a RPG that was developed by Black Isle Studios and first released for PC in North America by Interplay on October 9, 1997. The Mac version was published by MacPlay. The violence was toned down in European releases.

  • Child NPCs were for the most part removed.

German censorship[]

  • All European censorship also applies to Germany.
  • Blood was removed.
  • Violent death animations were removed.
  • Bodies were removed (introducing a game breaking bug in the 2nd level of The Glow)

UK censorship[]

  • All European censorship also applies to the UK.
  • The word "drug" was changed to "chem".
  • The word "addiction" was changed to "craving".

Where to find it uncensored[]

Every other region has it uncensored.
