Dragon Ball Super

Dragon Ball is a Japanese anime that was produced by Toei Animation. It was released on July 5, 2015 and is still ongoing. Due to Toonami France wanting to make the show appeal to a younger audience, some scenes were censored. Violence and sexuality were toned down.

  3. The scene where Master Roshi says "With so much money, you can buy a mountain of DVDs with small women who are very naughty!" was cut.
  4. The scene where Chi-Chi says "Come on, give me some of that money!" was cut
  5. The scene that shows Trunks hitting a snake mutiple times was modified for the Toonami France broadcast. In the Toonami france version the charater with purple hair only hits the snake once.

  2. The scene where Bulma says"A duo of Perverts beat you, unfortunately." was cut.
  3. The scene that shows three characters looking at Roshi and Oolong was cut.
  4. The scene where Roshi says "oolong! Continues to make!" was cut (note: someone needs to double check this translation.)
  5. The scene that shows a close up on Roshi, with Oolong pulling on Roshi's shrt was cut.

Mr. Satan is called Hercule, and violence was toned down and some sexual content was removed.

Israeli censorship

Episode 89 was banned due to Roshi's sexual and perverted behavior which seemed as "inappropriate, uneducational and unworthy of screen-time" by the Israelis.

Where to find it uncensored

The DVD and Blu-ray home videos are completely uncensored. The American and Japanese broadcasts aired the show completely uncensored.
