ドラえもん is a Japanese animated adaptation of the manga series of the same name, written and illustrated by Fujiko F. Fujio. The story revolves around a robotic cat named Doraemon, who travels back in time from the 22nd century to aid a boy named Nobita Nobi (野比のび太 Nobi Nobita). It was aired in Japan from April 2, 1979 to March 18, 2005, and was currently replaced by the ongoing anime reboot of the same name.
