Conan is an action-adventure video game that was developed by Nihilistic Software and published by THQ. The video game was released on September 28, 2007. Due to THQ targeting USK-16 rating, the game had to censored for release in Germany by toning down the bloody violence and removing the gore.

  • Blood splatters were reduced.
  • Pools of blood were reduced.
  • The combo counter is no longer blood stained.
  • Damage textures on enemies were reduced.
  • Limbs are no longer able to be cut off. Thus, the number of limbs cut in the statistics was removed.
  • Gore was removed.
  • Corpses lying throughout the levels in the game were removed.
  • The moves "Last Breath", "Stygian Spit" and "Stygian Spike Vortex" were removed.
  • It is no longer possible to throw enemies onto wooden stakes, shark thorns etc is no longer possible.
  • Enemies can no longer burn.

Where to find it uncensored?[]

Every other country has it uncensored. German players can play the uncensored PEGI-rated European version with the included German language option.
