Cold Winter is a first person shooting video game that was developed by Swordfish Studios and published by Vivendi Universal Games. The video game was released on May 11, 2005, and due to the uncensored version being banned, Germany saw a heavily cut version of this game.

  • Pools of blood was removed.
  • Corpses no longer bleed.
  • Ragdoll effects was removed.
  • Civilians can no longer be attacked.
  • When you shoot rats they no longer explode.
  • Blood splatters were removed.
  • Limbs can no longer be blown off.
  • The campaign intro was shortened to make it less gory.
  • In the third level the scene where Mhammud shooting a soldier was cut.
  • In the eighth level the scene that shows Kim stabbing a bodyguard's eye was cut.
