Castlevania: Dracula X is a Japanese action platforming game that was developed by Konami and was published by Konami. The video game was released on July 21, 1995, due to Nintendo's strict family friendly policies at the time the game had to be censored for the International release.

- In the uncensored version Richter flashes red when taking damage, and disintegrates into a cloud of red blood once he dies, this feature was modified for the International release. In the International version Richter flashes light blue when taking damage, and he disintegrates into a cloud of mist once he dies.
- The blood splatters that appear when death is hit in the first battle was modified for the International release. In the International version the blood was recolored white.
- The blood splatter that appear in the second phase of the battle when you hit death with either a knife, axe or cross was modified for the International release. In the International version the blood was digitally recolored white.
- Once Death loses the battle, his head will be chopped off, which results in four different blood splatters. This scene was modified for the International release. In the International version, instead of showing Death’s head being chopped off, it shows him burning to death.
