Afghan Censorship[]
- The app has been banned in Afghanistan along with other social media apps.
Indian Censorship[]
- The app has been banned in India in 2020 due to security reasons and concerns.
US Censorship[]
- On January 19th 2025, CapCut was temporarily banned following the ban of TikTok in the US, it was later unbanned when TikTok has its ban lifted although the app is delisted from the App Store and Google Play in the US.
Where to find uncensored[]
US users who still have CapCut prior to ban can still use CapCut (but only works offline or users who have turned on airplane mode on settings).
