Breath of Fire II is a JRPG that was developed by Capcom. It was published by Capcom in Japan and North America, and Laguna Video Games in the European Union. The video game was first released in Japan for the Super Famicom (SNES) on December 2, 1994. Due to Nintendo's policies at the time, the game was censored for international release. The later Virtual Console re-release on the Wii U was censored further to get an E rating from the ESRB.
